Saturday Sampler Tour | Daily Life in Ancient Rome

This docent-led event offers a general introduction to—and a fascinating exploration of—the everyday lives of ancient Romans. Tour the Kelsey Museum’s galleries with us to learn how Romans lived, worked, and played, including what they ate, how they dressed, what they did to entertain themselves, and how they responded to the joys and challenges of daily life. This Saturday Sampler will also delve into the process of “reading” archaeological materials to understand and connect with the past.
